We encountered some animals there too. There were some deers, but didn't bother to take any pics. After all, I'm from fuckin' F-land, and the damn country is filled with deers and elks. Seen plenty before. Big and small. Near and far. Alive and dead.
But here's something that I've never seen in F-land.
Don't laugh at the quality of the pics. Really. The camera is over 2years old and after 3hrs of sleep..and and.. And the 3 pics are just to show how it moved. Stopped, ran to the point B, ran and stopped to the point C.
There were some eagles too, but I've seen plenty of them as well.
So that was it. Grand Canyon. It was OK and enormous. But still, don't travel here just to see it. It's not worth it. What it's worth? It's worth seeing if it's conveniently on your road to some other place, like Las Vegas.
And that's where we were heading next. I'd been there once before and loved it. So I was happy to go there again. We didn't go there directly though. We stopped a couple fo times(we wanted to take some pictures and needed gas for our Volvo).
Right before entering the state of Utah, we had one place to see: Hoover Dam. Okay now google it. I'm not going waste/spend my time to exlplain what it is. But if you don't wanna waste your time either, just watch the pictures:
Looks very interesting, huh? I wonder what the hell the other people were doing there! There was nothing! Just the damned dam! Hoover Dam SUCKED.
Once we reached Utah, we stopped to get something to eat. Luckily our GPS..navigator..whatever machine(called Pentti) helped us to find Jack in the Box in Boulder City.
Travis was so nice that instead of 6 mozzarella-cheese-sticks, he gave me 10!! And they were probably the best mozzarella-sticks I've ever had. Mmm.. mouthwatering..
On the other side of the road was this cute store/shop:
We didn't need to drive for long to get to Las Vegas. And it was still AMAZING. This time I didn't take too many pictures, since it doesn't really change and I have about 500pics from the last trip there. Our hotel was Imperial Palace. It was very easy to find the hotel itself, but the entrance not so much. What about the check-in? Nah, not that easy. We found it anyway and got checked-in. Then we decided to go to get the bags from the car that we had parked in the parking hall.. somewhere there. So we spent quite a while searching for it. We had plenty of bags so getting into our room(which was almost on the top of the hotel, 17th floor, thanks to my request, which was kinda stupid now that I think of it..) wasn't very pleasant. Once in our room, we rested a while and then went to see the WORLD-FAMOUS LAS VEGAS! <3
Here's just few of the pics.
Here's my 2 favourite things in Vegas:
MGM's Lion Habitat:
and..
Bellagio by night (that watershow is sooo awesome. I wanna get married in front of it..It's all planned already and I'll post the details later)
Like I said before, I'd been there before but it was still amazing. I think everyone should go to Las Vegas even once. It's fake, but it's honestly fake, and that's what it's famous for. And I love it.
We didn't have a Vegas style dinner with Elvis and Marilyn, but..
I wasn't that big fan of McDonald's before, but after Marke told me that they have this 1$ sidesalad I'm a fan. It was goood. The applepie was good too. Or maybe I was just hungry.
i <3 LV(and not just Louis Vuitton, but Las Vegas as well)
