I was planning on seeing a movie today, but there was really nothing to see.. Nothing that I haven't seen already. Can't wait to see Sherlock Holmes-movie, Alice in Wonderland-movie and The New Moon- movie. The sad thing is, that when New Moon starts playing in theatres, I'll be in F-land! Not sure when it starts playing there..maybe next year. (Which means that I'm planning on commiting a crime..)
Today I had a meeting in El Cajon. After that I headed to Parkway Plaza to just wander around aimlessly. Hah-hah, I really did just wander around this time. I did buy a ring and a pair of earrings from Charlotte Russe. 2 for $8. Then I took the Trolley from Arnele Avenue to Gillespie Field. Yep, one stop only. And I was a badass and didn't even buy a ticket.( Buahahahhhaaa..) Then a familiar face stopped me and offered me a ride. It was like 100degrees outside so a ride home instead of walking about 30mins in the heat was the winner, no doubt.
I just noticed..
1) it's going to be 20th day of JULY tomorrow. Which means it's A MONTH till my 20th B-day. >>age crisis! I will be an old hag.. another 20 years and I'll 40!
2) About a month and my visa expires!
3) A little over a month.. and THE MINIROADTRIP BEGINS!!
Haven't I yet told you about it? Probably not. But NOW I will.
Let me introduce you, ladies and gentlemen..
So the plan is that two finnish blonds: Marke and Jonna, are going on the road! The roadtrip is called The Official Tuksu Tour! Marke, I know you will read this: WE REALLY NEED TO PRINT THIS PIC OUT AND GLUE AND TAPE IT INTO OUR CAR!(You have made the reservation already..? Right?RIGHT?)I'd ike to skip all the non-sense behing this "Tuksu tour"-name but I'm not sure can I!
Okay, briefly. Since there was no good info in Wikipedia about her. So.. Tuksu aka Johanna Tukiainen is a finnish female who is a glamour-model, a dancer, a singer and a hostess. (Can she really do all that? Nope. And this isn't even debatable!) She is also a celebrity. Why? Because she texted with our/Finland's foreign minister! (Yes, texted! That's how we do things in Finland! We don't call ( I shudder when I even think about it!), WE TEXT!) It was considered as a scandal in Finland, but for Tuksu it was a brilliant thing! She became famous! And as a result, she got several prizes and a lot of fame. To name a few of those prizes: Motherfucker of the Year-prize from one radio channel and The most Inane/Useless/Meaningless/Insignificant Celebrity of the Year 2008. She's also been on the cover of some magazines after she TEXTED with Mickey Rourke. Now, you can google her. And yes, I'm serious. Purtroppo.
And now you must be thinking "Why in hell did we name our roadtrip after her?" Well, we have done couple of stupid things too( haven't yet made it to the cover though..still working on it! ) and we are both blond..and we are both from Finland. (Okay, she is. I'm not. I'm american-italian. I am. I am. I'll be if I keep repeating it, right?)
So about the roadtrip itsself.. The trip starts from Los Angeles, where my dear friend Marke will tuksu with our rentalcar towards to San Diego. She will pick me up and the we will drive to Phoenix. We will stay at hotels,motels,hostels and IN A TENT! The last time I slept in a tent was like 10 years ago! I have no idea how to build up a tent! The tent I used back then, was my dad's old tent! I have no idea to use modern tents.. Wish me luck!
From Phoenix we will drive ehm.. somewhere.. and somewhere.. and somewhere.. and to San Francisco :D So.. Yes, everything is very neatly planned.
